Kentstrapper è stata la prima realtà in Italia a commercializzare stampanti 3D derivate dal progetto RepRap - la prima macchina di produzione d'uso generico auto-replicante. Da lì è poi nata Archimede, la prima stampante 3D creata in Italia.
Ad oggi Kentstrapper ha creato ben 15 modelli di stampanti 3D, tutti in continuo aggiornamento. Il 2014 è stato l'anno fondamentale per l'azienda: abbiamo rilasciato il modello Zero, la prima stampante 3D Kentstrapper pensata esclusivamente per l’utilizzo professionale.
Kenstrapper ha già prodotto e venduto centinaia di macchine, partecipato a fiere di settore, trasmissioni televisive e radiofoniche, eventi nazionali ed internazionali, tra cui le edizioni della Maker Faire Rome (vincendo il Make of Merit Award nel 2013). Kentstrapper è fiera dei risultati raggiunti finora, che trovano conferma nelle collaborazioni sviluppate con grandi aziende italiane ed europee nei settori moda, aerospazio, meccanica ed elettronica.
Oltre alla produzione di stampanti 3D, Kentstrapper fornisce anche una serie di servizi su commissione: modellazione 2D e 3D, scansione 3D e stampa 3D.
