Kerry Borcherding provides equine assisted psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups who struggle with grief, trauma, relationship challenges, personal growth, life transitions, communication, addiction, and/or attachment in and around Boulder, Colorado. During the therapy session you partner with horses to have an experience in the present moment. It is my belief that building a relationship with a horse will deepen your relationship with your self, others and nature. Horses are sensitive, intuitive, social beings, who help to illuminate our patterns of relationship and behaviors by giving us immediate feedback. Through relationship, they offer the opportunity to learn, grow, and heal. In addition to psychotherapy, Kerry Borcherding facilitates Yoga with Horses classes and workshops. Performing Yoga with Horses allows you to slow down, increase awareness, and reconnect with your Self, the horse, nature, and something greater. Through each practice, a heart-oriented theme is intricately woven, for your connection to your heart is the force behind every action and expression. Each workshop is devoted to time communing with nature, centering and grounding, and physically expressing your innate goodness and greatness from the inside out. Far beyond a mere physical exercise, yoga goes straight to your heart and soul, opening the one while enhancing your appreciation of the other.
