KITANTZIS PLANTS has been involved in the horticulture and agriculture sector since 1964. Our success lies in the deep understanding and engagement in all stages of the supply chain plus a comprehensive range of services. Our holistic approach includes:

Our trading business unit is located in Kifissia, in 1,0Ha premises comprising greenhouses, warehouses and the HQ offices. We trade annually more than 1M pot plants and 5K SKUs, 1M cut flowers and 2M propagation material. Our production activity takes place in Marathon, with a state-of-art greenhouse, rooting facilities, shading and outdoor growing areas, of total area 16,5Ha. We grow more than 150 varieties, from indoor plants to dry tolerant shrubs and trees.
Our company operates in full compliance with Greek and European laws and regulations. We can provide all our compliance certificates such us Certificate of Business Registration, Type A Certification for the trade of propagation Material, Type B Certification for the trade of Fertilizers, Certification of Registration in the Greek Phytosanitary Register. We have ISO Certificate 9001 since 2001, ISO Certificate 14001 and membership in professional organizations like EOAN and HERRCO in recycling, SEPY in young plants, SPEL in fertilizers, ESEEFY in plant importers (John Kitantzis president) and AASFA in plant production growers.
In the last years, we have been involved in numerous landscape projects, including LEED certified buildings, planting over 500K plants and installing more than 2,5Ha green roof systems or green vertical walls. We led the way into green roof systems installations building the first system in Greece during the 90’s.
