Kunst & Liebe Frequency Machine. KLFM was established as a reaction to the fact by closing of former FM Radio KL a great interest group remains deprived of one truly local approach, but also, in terms of production and music, modern and global media. KLFM objective is direct contact with the local community for the purpose of creating completely free and open media that serves as a basic platform for all those quiet and shy voices of a group that we, unfortunately, have to call „cultural minority“. We are a community radio with the basis purpose of being a community service, but at the same time, an open window towards global trends and happenings. Musically, we target more demanding audience and because of our non-profit status we do not have to play for the taste of majority. We have a large number of volunteers that participate in creation of programmes whether as associates or as community members who wish to secure space in free media. In media sense KLFM represents an integration of several elements of new media. Namely, our radio programme is broadcast online as streaming, and all shows are archived in the form of podcast. In this way the whole programme is available in media form at request. Also, each of shows has complementary content on KLMF web portal of blogging type. All of our shows are present in social networks (Facebook, Twiter, YouTube, etc.).
