I did sub contracting work from Top North Florida Home Builders such as John D. Nock Builder, Lee Sims Builder, Mercedes Homes in Jacksonville Fl. , ICI Homes in Palm Coast. During this time I expanded my Framing Company which allowed me to pass my Residential Contractors Exam in Gainesville Fl. In 1990 I competed the HH Block testing and passed the 1st time with a score of 78. I obtained this score and never even cracked a book. I was able to accomplish this feat because of my field experience which was hands on where I learned 1st hand how to be a builder. During my 20 years as the head of Jeff Kuper Custom Homes I meandered off to work as a Superintendent for Davis and Sons Construction out of Gainesville Fl. During this time I traveled the Southeast United States building Multi Family projects. These projects were up to over $27 Million dollars. After 3 projects were completed I returned to St. Johns County and re established Jeff Kuper Custom Homes and partnered with Tom Scheirer Realty. Together we built homes in the Crescent Cove Subdivision off S. R. 206. and completing other projects on my own. Then in 2000 I joined with R. K. Weston Construction out of Bradenton Fl. I traveled around Florida as the General Superintendent overseeing framing and remodeling multi family projects such as Lake Fredrica Apartments off 436 in Orlando Fl.
