Historia is de studentenkring van de Leuvense geschiedenisstudent.
Als kring van de geschiedenisstudent situeren wij ons binnen de faculteit Letteren en worden wij overkoepeld door KOCO Letteren, die de kringen Alfa, Babylon, Eoos, Historia, Mecenas en Musicologica verenigt.
Omringd door dit mooie gezelschap engageert Kring Historia zich elk academiejaar om het leven van de geschiedenisstudent zo vlot en vooral ook aangenaam mogelijk te laten verlopen. Om dit te doen, bestaat Historia uit drie ‘zuilen’. De eerste zuil is Onderwijs. Een team van verkozen studentenvertegenwoordigers en onderwijsverantwoordelijken die problemen met vakken of proffen en in allerlei raden zetelen en daar het beleid aan de universiteit mee beïnvloeden . De tweede zuil is Cudi. Als goede student is het belangrijk om cursussen voor je vakken te hebben, en liefst zo snel en goedkoop mogelijk. De Cudi distribueert dus boeken, cursussen en readers maar ook kaarten voor activiteiten zodat studenten alvast goed hun academiejaar doorkomen. De derde zuil is ontspanning. Elke Leuvense student heeft wel eens ontspanning nodig en daar zorgt Historia voor. Historia houdt studenten doorheen het hele jaar bezig met cantussen, TD’s, cocktailfeestjes, cultuuruitstappen, feestjes in de Fakbar, sportevenementen, een reis etc. Kortom, 3 zuilen om de Leuvense geschiedenisstudent de beste tijd van zijn leven te geven.
