For example, if a user is searching for a “boxer”, is that a fighter or a dog? When a search engine understands the content, it can return search results relevant to the user’s query.
For a user to remain engaged, performance must be optimal, and the user interface and navigation must be seamless. If the site is too slow, or widgets are broken because they’re incompatible with the user’s web browser, engagement suffers and opportunities are lost.
When receiving data from the user, such as contact information from a form, or
perhaps a shipping address for a product, it’s the duty of the website to ensure a secure transaction. The storage of user data must be secure as well, and in the case of various industries, it’s the law.
