Kutanga is created to be beneficial to learners from all
different backgrounds, it has the best interest of the learner
at heart. Kutanga with the assistance of tutors will help
learners achieve their best academic results and enable
learners with learning tools that they will be able to use
throughout their lives. Kutanga is motivated to bring back
the confidence of the learners so that he/she may excel and
enjoy their years of learning.
Objective
There are two main goals :
Firstly, for Kutanga is to see our learners that come to our
tutoring classes be empowered and empower those that
they surround themselves with. In order to achieve this, we
would need to grow Kutanga into a learning center (after
school program) that will help learners develop a love for
learning and build their character development. The tools
which they learn will be able to equip them for life and
help them their build a positive legacy to leave behind.
Secondly, with enough financial stability, to reach out to
schools that are less privilege and offer free tuition services,
empower learners through learning and create jobs for
tutors especially since South Africa has a high
unemployment rate.
“These tutors will need to be passionate about children and
learning. Some tutors will be student teaches from different
teaching university as many students are not able to get bursaries or
have enough finance to pay up their tertiary fees.
In order to obtain this goal, Kutanga will need to have financial
plan in place to achieve these goals. Kutanga will need to obtain
investors that believe in the dream of improving education, one
learner at a time.
Company Information
Kutanga started with only having 5 learners, the founder as the
tutor, tutoring those five learners in her small apartment in 2021.
On the 15th January 2022, Kutanga was officially launched. With
the help of social media and word of mouth there are between 25
30 students per school term, Kutanga.
