It's time to close the gender gap!
Bedrijven presteren beter als er een grotere diversiteit is tussen man en vrouw. Dit en vele andere redenen hebben gezorgd voor de opkomst van Lady Tech. Lady Tech heeft als doel om hen voetdruk achter te laten in een wereld waar diversiteit een belangrijke rol speelt. Onze missie is het samenbrengen van vrouwelijk IT-talent bij diverse organisaties. Het is nu de tijd voor gelijkheid en inclusie!
Van de IT studenten in Nederland is zo'n 14% vrouwelijk. Maar slechts een heel klein deel daarvan krijgt daadwerkelijk een functie binnen de IT. Als het je als vrouw al lukt om een plekje in de IT te bemachtigen is gelijkheid alsnog ver te zoeken: van de ruim 300 duizend IT'ers in Nederland is slechts zo'n 10% vrouw. Daarom lanceert True Legends in maart 2022 'Lady Tech'. Een beweging om vrouwen in de IT en aan de top te krijgen.
Eind 2019 werd er in de tweede kamer gestemd op een bindend vrouwenquotum. Het kabinet komt daarom in januari van 2022 met een concreet wetsvoorstel om vrouwen ook daadwerkelijk aan de top te krijgen. Als wij willen dat vrouwen de top bereiken moeten we vandaag nog beginnen om ze in onze teams te verwelkomen en daar hebben we hulp bij nodig van alle bedrijven die hier ook naar streven. Wie ooit een berg beklom weet: de top is niet in een dag bereikt.
