The current transistor-based architecture, while foundational to modern computing, presents critical limitations as we push toward denser and more energy-efficient systems: Thermal constraints are becoming a primary bottleneck. As switching speeds and transistor counts increase, so does heat generation, limiting reliable operation and necessitating complex cooling solutions. Scaling saturation: Further miniaturization of transistors has entered a regime of diminishing returns. Quantum effects and fabrication complexity at nanoscale nodes impose practical limits on continued scaling. Energy per operation remains non-trivial. In workloads such as deep learning and real-time graphics, billions of operations per second translate to substantial power draw. Routing complexity increases rapidly with higher parallelism, which in turn leads to inefficiencies in spatial layout and delays in signal propagation. In contrast, we have developed a novel computing approach that fundamentally avoids these constraints. It exhibits: Zero active heat generation during operation. Theoretical infinite stackability due to the absence of thermal and electromagnetic interference. Custom logic construction at micron-level resolution without requiring transistor fabrication. Simplified parallel design, allowing large-scale systems to scale linearly with surface area or volume. While details of the system remain under wraps until formal publication, the implications are clear: new logic architectures are not only possible but necessary as we move beyond the limits of transistor-era computing. We believe this opens a new direction in logic design — one that prioritizes material efficiency, energy independence, and scalability. Further details and results will follow.
