Der Lernort Erle ist eine neue und innovative, vom Kanton Baselland bewilligte, Privatschule mit familiärem Charakter. Sie öffnet ihre Pforten zu Beginn des Schuljahres 2021/22 in Reinach (BL). Der Lernort bietet eine in der schweizerischen Bildungslandschaft zukunftsweisende Mischung aus Lernen zu Hause und Lernen in der Schule. Das Bildungsangebot, das sich am Lehrplan 21 orientiert, umfasst während der gesamten obligatorischen Schulzeit (KG-Sek I) drei Schultage in der Woche. An diesen erfährt jede Schülerin und jeder Schüler von den erfahrenen und gut ausgebildeten Lehrpersonen eine individuelle Begleitung. An den anderen Tagen findet das Lernen zu Hause statt. Dabei werden die Eltern intensiv begleitet und unterstützt.
Am Lernort Erle stehen das Individuum, die Beziehung und die Gestaltung des sozialen Miteinanders im Mittelpunkt. Die Kinder und Jugendlichen lernen interessenbezogen u.a. in kleinen, altersgemischten Gruppen von sieben Kindern. Durch den Lernort Erle entsteht ein Ort, an dem der intrinsisch motivierte und natürliche Entfaltungsprozesse von Kindern durch eine achtsame und inspirierende Lernumgebung begleitet werden kann. Ein Ort, an dem jedes Kind in Würde, seinem Tempo und seinen Bedürfnissen bzw. Begabungen entsprechend mit Freude lernen darf.
Die Schülerinnen und Schüler sind frei von Noten-, Stoff- und Zeitdruck. Denn emotional gesunde Kinder wachsen und reifen zu gesunden, kompetenten, selbstsicheren und kreativen Erwachsenen heran, welche unsere Gesellschaft und unsere Welt dringend braucht.
Der Lernort Erle soll zudem ein Bildungsort sein, an welchem sich die jungen Menschen und ihre Eltern auf dem individuellen Bildungsweg ihrer Kinder unterstützt und begleitet fühlen. Frei nach dem afrikanischen Sprichwort 'für die Erziehung eines Kindes braucht es ein ganzes Dorf', stellt die Schule ein erweitertes Bindungsdorf zum Elternhaus dar.
