CORPOLIENZO is a social enterprise and non-profit entity that, through the recovery and dissemination of organic cotton cultivation and the production of the Lienzo de la Tierra®, contributes to the cultural identity and improves the living conditions of its associates and partners. The Lienzo de la Tierra® is a proposal that dignifies the work of the charaleña peasant woman, who has demonstrated her tenacity, management and leadership capacity to weave and make the dreams and hopes of a population come true. Organic cotton associated with the cultivation of artisan work of spinning and weaving have been the best pretext to promote the integration of the family, in which men are paid for their efforts, women have the opportunity to actively contribute to the family economy, the work of the elderly is valued, who feel useful and the presence of children brightens the environment and ensures the continuity of tradition while they learn values and acquire knowledge in a practical way and oriented to a sustainable future. El Lienzo de la Tierra is a commitment to strengthen and maintain the peasant way of life, which with its values and traditions enriches humanity.
