Localift works with smart cities, companies and communities to deliver trusted shared mobility solutions, reducing congestion, economic costs and environmental impacts.
Mobility is a trillion-dollar industry on the verge of a mobility transformation comparable to the industrial revolution. It encompassess all traditional modes of regular transport and emerging modes such as ridehailing, on-demand transport, carsharing, bikesharing, micro-mobility and autonomous vehicles.
This transformation is driving Smart Cities, Communities and Companies around the world to solve two common problems, resulting in traffic congestion, parking pressures and pollution:
· Too many driver-only vehicles (including single passenger ride hailing)
· Sub-optimal patronage of mass-transit options
To activate shared mobility and sustainable forms of multi-modal transport, Localift has identified three challenges
1. Trust management is required to give users confidence to share modes of mobility with others
2. Lack of interoperability between transport modes and operators
3. No simple, seamless payment and cost sharing system across transport modes and between peers
Localift is developing solutions to tackle these problems:
MaasPaay - MaasPaay will enable customers to make single payments for individual or shared end-to-end journeys by any modes of transport
Trustlinks - Delivering trust-as-a-service enabling shared travel with people you can trust
MaaS ID - Enabling seamless interoperability between operators of any modes of transport
Localift has a shared mobility platform available and will also be able to deliver services via API to any mobility operator or journey planner.
