LODE Cameroon is a non-profit association legally recognized in conformity with the provisions of Cameroon's Law N° 90/053 of December 19th, 1990. LODE Cameroon was founded in 2015 and registered with registration N° 069/RDA/F.34/SAAJP on the 23rd of June 2021 by the Ministry of Territorial Administration (MINAT). VISION " We work for a world free from extreme poverty and injustice". MISSION "We strive to see a community where people are in good health, well-educated, well-nourished, well involved in the process of their development, and the rights of women and youths are respected". GOALS We work with communities to enhance and improve their living conditions in the following areas: 1- Environment protection and climate change We work with communities to restore degraded lands, preserve biodiversity and promote the fight against climate change through reforestation and the promotion of good farming practices. 2- Food security and agricultural value chains development We do promote good and sustainable farming methods to ameliorate both qualitative and quantitative agricultural productivity. We develop and enhance agricultural value chains. Likewise, we promote the distribution of good and ameliorated seeds to communities. Furthermore, we monitor farmer’s activities and create market opportunities for farmers. 3- Entrepreneurship and sustainable development We do promote and train youths and Women in Income Generating Activities(IGA). We help communities to create social enterprises or ventures through our entrepreneurship program in order to improve communities living conditions and move them from poverty to wealth. Not only that, but we strive to break the dependency rate among women and youths in the rural community. 4- Health We fight against Prenatal and Neonatal mortality in remote areas where access to hospitals and health centres is difficult. We promote the fight against breast and prostatic cancer, fight against HIV-AIDs, Malaria, Typhoid.
