It is our mission to deliver smiles on humans' faces, strengthen your relationship with your dog, and bring more humans around the world closer to the beloved Dachshund breed.
Like so many dachshund owners, our first dachshund stole our hearts the moment we saw him. We've made all sorts of new friends, explored new places and tried a whole bunch of new things all because of a 3 pound, short legged, long bodied, loud bark-y, teeny weenie puppy dog named Tino. Becoming a first-time puppy mum/dad is no easy feat but we learned everything possible to raise our little pup the best we could.
We started getting to know the community of other dachshund mums and dads online. They became our support system when we were frustrated (#newpuppylife) and our biggest cheerleaders as things went right.
Pretty quickly we fell head over heels in love with Doxies/Teckels/Dackels/Wiener Dogs/Weenies. How could you not? Look at those little legs! And long bodies! I guess since you're here, you know what we're saying. And we learned that we weren't alone, there were so many weenie parents that were as obsessed as we were and there were plenty of brands geared toward human clothes for other dogs but not dachshunds...and so longboi was born.
