Since 1997, Lunar has strategically invested in HMI lighting research, and has developed the technology to its ultimate efficiency. With extensive research, Lunar has increased the power and broadened the variety of its lights, resulting in the acclaimed 12,000W HMI Lunar Lighting Tower that can emit a staggering 1,200,000 Lumens output from a single light source as lux levels can be increased by up to 2800% with the use of a Lunar Reflector.
We have glare-free, powerful lighting for every application – military, construction, road building, mining, oil & gas, rail, entertainment, sports and public events. Our lights and light towers include HMI, Halogen and LED technology.
Our products have been approved and purchased by the US Department of Homeland Security, are proven in the field, and have been allocated NATO Stock Numbers after exhaustive testing by the US Department of Defense.
Lunar Lighting systems are glare-free, with significantly reduced shadowing and even light distribution, in every direction. The light has special qualities – it is the visual color of daylight, it fades evenly, without black holes and shadows, and even when working close to the light source, it is glare free. This means improved worker safety and a more productive work environment.
Lunar lights are also amazingly powerful, when compared to their size and energy consumption – the battery-run BakPak light illuminates over 250 sq. yards, the tripod mounted 1,200W HMI Lunar light illuminates more than 3000 sq. yards, and the incredible 12,000W HMI Lunar Lighting Tower covers 60,000 sq. yards. No other lighting system in the world can achieve that.
