Es gibt kaum kostenlose digitale Lösungen für Fachvokabeln, und staatliche sowie betriebliche Maßnahmen für Berufs-Deutsch-Training sind oft unzureichend. BILDSCHATZ ist ein Projekt, welches vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung im Rahmen des Innovationswettbewerbs InnoVET PLUS gefördert wird. Ziel des Projekts ist die Etablierung eines lizenzfreien, kostenlosen Vokabeltrainers, der berufliches Vokabular vermittelt und somit die berufliche Handlungskompetenz fördert. Die bereits bestehende App Lunes wird hierfür weiterentwickelt und erweitert. Mit dem Programm InnoVET fördert das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) bundesweit Projekte mit dem Ziel, die Attraktivität, Qualität und Gleichwertigkeit der beruflichen Bildung zu steigern. Durchgeführt wird das Programm vom Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB).
