Ma'aden Barrick Copper Company (MBCC) is a strategic joint venture between Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) and Barrick Gold Corporation, two global leaders in the mining industry. MBCC operates the pioneering Jabal Sayid copper mine, located in the heart of Saudi Arabia, approximately 120 kilometers southeast of Medina. As the first major copper mine in the country, Jabal Sayid represents a significant step forward in diversifying Saudi Arabia’s mining sector and leveraging its mineral resources.
