Mama Bamboo launched in 2018 with an ambition to disrupt the UK nappy market. For 60 years disposable nappies have been damaging the environment. Traditionally made using crude oil, polypropylene and polyethylene, disposable nappies are one of the worst forms of single used plastic and represent c10% of black bin waste.
Following months of research and development, our unique range of bamboo nappies were launched in September 2018, alongside a range of 100% compostable bamboo wipes.
