Our goal is to raise awareness and highlight resources around Alzheimer's disease, dementia, caregiving, brain health, and healthy aging and living in general. Central to our efforts is “My Mama Joe, Hope & Help” an independently produced documentary film on Alzheimer’s and family caregiving. We incorporate the film as part of educational outreach called Community Engagement Forums.
Here we partner with churches, universities, public health agencies, and community leaders to have an event where we screen the film followed by post-film discussion with local experts in film themes. The events are free, and open to all ages and backgrounds. By connecting individuals and families to information and resources, our vision is that they will be positioned for an improved quality of life. We’re glad to have exploratory discussion around collaboration with your organization or entity.
