MA Privileges Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian fintech offering a trustworthy and convenient online platform focusing on making large online purchases affordable via installments.
Originally conceptualized for offline environment back in 2009, the concept was fine tuned in 2015 to cater for the booming online environment and was launched in 2016 with CIMB Malaysia by making trips to amusement parks of various categories (adventure, edutainment, safari, theme, indoor, outdoor, water etc parks (except car parks lah) affordable. Since then, additional categories such as Play & Stay and cruise companies were onboarded – all of which were made affordable by leveraging on in house developed payment module offering 0% IPP (Installment Payment Plan) with the largest regional banks in Malaysia.
In July 2020, we partnered with MDEC, digi and Exabytes to organize a webinar for professional services firms aimed at:
1) identifying the challenges faced by professional services firms pre and post Covid-19
2) link technology service providers (& of course AmBank) to increase productivity for professional services firms in line with MDEC's objective to digitalize the nation efficiently and effectively
During this webinar, we invited Dr. Nurmazilah, CEO of MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) and Farah Rosley, President of CTIM (Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia) and your colleague Tracy in a 1 hour panel discussion to discuss how has Covid-19 impacted the collections for professional services firms.
