Mavka is a non-profit educational organization that was founded by a group of proactive Ukrainians with ideas to positively impact the Ukrainian educational highschool system. We are the frustrated students, the concerned parents, and the dedicated teachers.
In today's old-fashioned educational system, the student's success is significantly predetermined by the resources of the school they attend, which penalizes the less privileged members of the population. Mavka's mission is to provide fair and equal access to the free top-quality educational materials for every Ukrainian.
We aim to help raise a generation of individuals, patriots, and innovators by:
- developing wide-spread access to education materials,
- inducing the culture of self-education, and
- providing for the development of critical and constructive thinking.
We also support the New Ukrainian School (НУШ) reform and try to facilitate its missions.
