Founded in 1972, McCann Logistics began as a local haulage company of imports and exports through Immingham. Since then, McCann have grown into a UK Nationwide transport operation that also leads the way in transporting goods to and from Europe.
McCann’s three core activities are:
European Trailer Activities: Using 200 of their own trailers, McCann serve the UK from Holland, Belgium and Germany into the ports of Purfleet and Immingham. Through their network of both European and UK hauliers, McCann also arrange collection and onward deliveries from these ports.
Freight Forwarding Activities: McCann provide door to door solutions to and from any destination worldwide, with specialist, weekly operations for cargos from Spain and Portugal to the UK. Delivery to site is available Nationwide, plus access to 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high cube containers and specialised equipment.
UK Customs Clearance: McCann offers a centralised customs clearance function which is able to clear cargo in the ports of Felixstowe, Tilbury, Purfleet, Immingham, Killingholme, Hull, Liverpool and Bristol; plus other ports upon request. This service is both HMRC and CDS compliant, meaning fast release of your cargo.
