What is DAO and why will MyMedV Metaverse be built on it?
A DAO, or “Decentralized Autonomous Organization,” is a community-led company that has no central authority. It is one of the most autonomous and transparent platforms. Members of the DAO help lay the foundational rules, then agreed upon decisions will be executed. At any point in time, proposals and votes, as well as the code itself can be audited publically. In other words, a DAO is governed entirely by its members who democratically, as a community, make critical decisions on the future of the metaverse project.
We want the MyMedV metaverse to be the springboard of change and we believe that the community is best to address the shortcomings of the current medical world. The community can drive the desired changes in innovative ways, something that would drive healthcare towards more engagement, wellness, and real improvement to our quality of life.
