MedSOS.com, is on-line immediate information of your medical history, valid anywhere in the world. A tool for simultaneous communication with medical personnel, in their language, all year round, on a 24/7 basis. Either away from home, in your city, or on a trip, an indigestion, a motion sickness or a rise in tension could become a serious problem. Even more so, if you have to deal with a foreign language. If you don’t consider this a major issue, you may not pay enough attention to it and therefore not ask for medical assistance, thus putting your health at risk. But what if something more serious were to happen? What if you lose consciousness or happen to have an accident? MedSOS, as presented today, is the fruit of years of work, by a wide array of medical professionals, IT technicians, translators, lawyers…etc, whose experiences, both personal and professional, have always been associated with travelling worldwide. The task assigned to the Medical team was: 1. To design a medical questionnaire which would enable medical personnel to act with maximum speed in emergency cases --- MEDICAL HISTORY 2. To develop a tool which would allow instant communication of the patient’s symptoms in medical jargon--- SYMPTOMS 3. To define a series of vital measurements that the patient himself/herself can carry out--- MEASUREMENTS. We consider that with these 3 tools, a doctor can diagnose more accurately the treatment needed for the patient anywhere in the world. This philosophy is the underlying foundation of this project which we hope will contribute in improving your quality of life and that of your loved ones.
