بیش از سه دهه فعالیت در حوزه دفع آفات نباتی، دامی و خانگی، یکی از قدیمیترین و بزرگترین تولیدکنندگان کشور است.
شرکت ملی شیمی کشاورز در مرداد 1365 با سرمایهگذاری بخش دولتی، فعالیت تولیدی خود را در شهر صنعتی البرز قزوین آغاز کرده و توسط شرکت بایر آلمان که یکی از معتبرترین شرکتها در حوزه آفات گیاهی و دامی است، تجهیز و راه اندازی شد. شرکت دارای 17 خط تولید در حوزه دفع آفات و کودهای شیمیایی بوده و ظرفیت تولید آن، 46 هزار و 424 تن در سال است.
خصوصی سازی
در اردیبهشت 1395، سهام شرکت ملی شیمی کشاورز، توسط گروه توسعه ملی به بخش خصوصی واگذار شد. پس از واگذاری، و تغییرات مدیریتی و تزریق سرمایه، در مدت سه سال، شرکت با رشد 10 برابری در فروش و سرمایه روبرو شد. در حال حاضر نیز شرکت در فاز توسعهای قرار دارد و با ایجاد واحدهای مختلف در بخش اداری، فنی و تولید، درصدد افزایش سهم بازار و ایجاد بازارهای جدید است
این شرکت با بکارگیری فناوریهای پیشرفته، و رعایت استانداردهای بینالمللیFAO و WHOمحصولات، توانسته است علاوه بر تولید محصولات با کیفیت، در بین کشاورزان اعتبار زیادی کسب کرده و برند خود را در بازار بشناساند. همچنین یکی از افتخارات شرکت ملی شیمی کشاورز اینکه تولیدکننده تکنیکال سم کاپراکسی کلراید، اتیون و مالاتیون است و مواد اولیه این سم را به دیگر تولیدکنندگان عرضه میکند.

شرکت ملی شیمی کشاورز با بهرهگیری از منابع انسانی متخصص و متعهد، هدف خود را تولید، تامین، فروش و توزیع مواد دفع آفات و سموم کشاورزی و دامی در بازارهای داخلی و خارجی قرار داده است؛ در کنار آن ارائه خدمات مدیریت پسماند را نیز به عنوان یک شرکت حامی محیطزیست و سلامت و بهداشت جامعه، آغاز کردهاست تا بتواند علاوه بر سودآوری، در امنیت غذایی، توسعه پایدار و موضوعات زیست محیطی، سهمی را از آن خود کرده باشد. این شرکت به دنبال ایجاد دهکده تولیدات محصولات شیمیایی در کشور و خاورمیانه برای نخستین بار است.
