Welcome to the official profile of the Association of Citizens Meta Terra!
We are a small, non-profit organization based in Kanjiža, Serbia. Our main objectives are to contribute to:
• the sustainability of small-scale farmers and handicraft producers;
• the improvement towards local product demand;
• the economical development possibilities;
• the foundation of young people's perspectives and possibilities;
• raising and cultivating mindfulness.
We organize and encourage the fulfillment the above objectives by:
• coordinating events that mobilize local producers;
• assisting the mobility and employment of young people;
• presenting lectures, seminars, and conferences;
• publishing books, brochures, magazines and other printed material;
• building new models of communication and interest between the consumers and producers;
• developing an online platform and providing a street market that directly connect consumers with producers;
• researching the population's needs and potentials for innovative businesses;
• promoting local products and designing an affirmative environment;
• and implementing various environmental programs and activities.
Our objectives are carried out in conjunction with the State of Serbia, provincial and local governmental bodies and organizations, public and private economic organizations, institutions, communities, charitable organizations, non-governmental organizations, and other and dedicated organizations and individuals.
The activities of the association are mainly carried out in the Republic of Serbia, but we have activities in other countries in the world. We always follow the national, regional and international laws, regulations and standards during every step of our activities.
