1. WHAT IS METALMATE ?
An inert polymer coating that is bonded with the alloy wheel modifying the surface to easy clean .
2. DOES IT ALTER THE APPEARANCE OF THE WHEEL
NO. Metalmate is invisible and will preserve the Alloy wheel, and make it easy clean, guaranteed!
3. HOW LONG WILL IT LAST
The coating is permanent and with simple Aftercare will last the lifetime of the wheel
4. WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE
Metalmate is supplied with an Aftercare Dispenser which is a special blend of detergent and water borne polymers. By rinsing cleaned wheels once or twice a year with Aftercare the polymers will find and repair any unseen damage and maintain optimum performance of the coating.
5. DOES A BUILD UP OCCUR
NO. The polymers will only bond with the exposed surface of the alloy wheel .
6. DOES THE COATING VISIBLY DETERIORATE
NO. Unlike waxes or unbound silicones which rely upon mechanical adhesion and soon dissipate resulting in an irregular appearance and should be completely removed before re application, Metalmate is chemically reacted with the wheel surface to provide a uniform permanent coating.
7. DO AUTOMATIC CAR WASHES DAMAGE THE COATING
No. In fact they become more efficient at cleaning the wheels.
