MHFA England Instructor Members are accredited to deliver the only licensed Mental Health First Aid courses in England and are working tirelessly to improve the mental health of the nation.
The courses they deliver are grounded in research, written by clinical experts with input from those with lived experience of mental health issues. As the sole provider of licensed Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training in England, our programme is accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.
All MHFA England Instructor Members must pass our rigorous licensed seven day training programme. Delivered by our expert National Trainers, this programme is spread over six weeks followed by an assessment and sign off process, and one year of mentor support.
Our Instructor Members also have a minimum course delivery requirement and must attend at least one upskill event per year to ensure their skills stay up to date and maintain their registration with us.
