Mobile Instrument Service & Repair (MISR) changed the face of instrument repair in Canada when it launched its first On-Site service van (Mobile Repair Lab) in 1982. As an independent, low cost alternative to original manufacturer’s high-cost, slow service repairs, our business quickly grew as Canadian healthcare providers recognized the convenience of working with a partner that could provide both On-Site and Off-Site repair services. Mobile Instrument Service & Repair (MISR) is the largest surgical instrument repair company in Canada.
Our On-Site surgical instrument repair services and preventative maintenance programs are complemented by our National Repair Centre in Oshawa, Ontario. At the National Repair Centre we provide not only the same instrument care, sharpening and repair services that are offered On-Site, but also an exhaustive list of instrument repair options including: instrument color coding, needle holder insert replacement, laparoscopic instrument rebuilding, and complete electrosurgical re-insulation.
MISR is the solution for hospitals and clinics to minimize downtime required to send in instruments for full set refurbishment.
