We are Mobbera Foundation.
We believe in a fair and equal society where all lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning, queer, intersex, asexual, pansexual persons, and more. Additionally, our allies can achieve their full potential without fear or discrimination.
Mobbera is a Hyderabad-based family with an international mutual fellowship founded in 2015 by those of the LGBTQIA+ community for the community. Over the past few years, we’ve raised awareness about the LGBTQIA+ community while providing guidance and support for queer people at times when families, friends and allies couldn't be supportive.
We’ve always been at the forefront of the fight against marginalisation and discrimination faced by the Indian queer community for social and legal support in India, currently focusing in the Telangana State.
LGBTQIA+ people still face persecution, discrimination and stark health inequalities. Through our non-profit organisation we reduce isolation amongst our communities, help people feel more confident and in control of their lives and enable people to flourish.
Mobbera Foundation strives to further amplify queer voices, provide support and offer hope.
Fully volunteer-powered, we conduct various physical and virtual events and awareness sessions to build a safer and stronger society for all. We are incredibly proud of the thousands of people we've been able to reach through our 500+ events in the last half a decade.
