Model Swarm is a dynamic on-line hub for the modeling industry. It is a place where models, agents, photographers, casting directors, make-up artists and hair dressers comingle for the explicit purpose of generating business.
It is Facebook meets Monster.com but for the modeling industry. Facebook in the sense that it is an online community where models have profiles and can add friends and/or professionals (listed above) to their network. Monster.com in the sense that it is where connections are made for the purpose of doing business.
Model Swarm positions itself at the vanguard of a very specific niche in the marketplace. Model Swarm is chic yet unpretentious. Fun yet functional. Fresh yet professional. Addictive yet necessary.
Our target market are models from 18 years old to 32 years old but not limited to. We stress that any serious working model or serious aspiring model can be a member, but this age range represents the bulk of actual working models.
"Models" connotes all types of models, from fashion models and print models to promotional models and fitness models. We do not include exotic and/or nude modeling in our pool of members.
The design of our website is clean, attractive, straightforward, clutter-free and responsive. These elements entice a first time visitor to want to stay on our site and explore more thoroughly.
Members' profile photos will be screened for quality control. We will only accept professional grade photos to be uploaded onto a member’s profile, no exceptions. This means that each photo must be composed of a decent resolution, proper lighting, tasteful clothing and tasteful poses. With the advent of high pixel digital cameras and high pixel smart phones there should not be much of a barrier for someone to submit a decent quality photograph. But lighting and all the other aforementioned elements must be present. We are a website for serious professionals.
