She lives in Austin, Texas along with her 11-year-old son Michael and enjoys nature walks with him. She is a member of Financial Planning Association of Austin where she leads the mastermind sessions for Women’s Initiative and a member of National Association of Forensic Economics. She also serves as the co-president of New York University Alumni Club in Austin and the Communications Leader of New York University Doctoral Alumni Association. She has bilingual proficiency in English and Turkish.
