Jürg Ehrensperger und Andreas Weber, zwei Schulfreunde, gründeten 1995 die Möbelmarke MOX, die für eine neue Generation stand: Jenseits des etablierten Designverständnisses entwickelte MOX zusammen mit aufstrebenden Jungdesignern neue Möbeltypen, die praktisch, minimalistisch und hochwertig sind. MOX wurde zum Pionier auf dem Gebiet der Anlehnmöbel.
Seitdem wurde die Kollektion kontinuierlich in Zusammenarbeit mit Schweizer Designgrössen u.A. wie Charles O. Job, Fritz Gräber und Stephan Hürlemann um Tische, Aufbewahrungsmöbel, Garderobenständer und Schirmständer erweitert. Die MOX-Prinzipien sind dieselben geblieben: Clever in der Umsetzung, einfach in der Handhabung, hochwertig in der Verarbeitung, damit sie ein Leben lang halten und damit auch ökologisch gut abschneiden.
Es sind Charakterstücke, die nicht auftrumpfen wollen, sondern einfach gut sind - und es auch bleiben.
