MPG is zo’n 10 jaar geleden begonnen aan het bouwen van een groot silopark. Nadat dit silopark enkele jaren heeft gediend als overslagstation, werd deze uitgebreid met een menginstallatie. Door het toevoegen van een menginstallatie aan het silopark was het mogelijk voor MPG om producten zelf te gaan ontwikkelen en produceren.
Met cement als hoofdcomponent werden verschillende producten voor de infra en ruwbouw in de markt gezet en waar nodig mobiele silo’s meegeleverd om wachttijden op de bouw te verkleinen.
Aangezien er meerdere raakvlakken zijn met deze activiteiten en de afbouwsector waar veel technische mortels gebruikt worden, is er door MPG geïnvesteerd in een bedrijfshal, afzakinstallatie en modern laboratorium voor productontwikkeling en kwaliteitscontrole. Deze technische mortels worden door MPG online verkocht onder de naam MPG Mortel BV.
Sinds 1 juli 2021 is MPG zich gaan toeleggen op de markt van hulp- en vulstoffen ten behoeve van de betonmortelindustrie. Deze nieuwe activiteit sluit naadloos aan op de behoefte van onze bestaande klantenkringen en biedt tevens perspectief aan markt- en applicatieontwikkelingen ten aanzien van de producten welke medio 2022 uit de MPG maalfabriek beschikbaar komen. De markt van hulp- en vulstoffen wordt bediend door MPG Solutions BV.
