The Michigan Unmanned Aerial Systems Consortium (MUASC) is a 501(c)(3) and the State's only organization which has performed UAS flight test activities under FAA Test Site authority through a partnership with NUAIR. We help accelerate the development, deployment and adoption of technologies that support UAS and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).
MUASC had been a partner to NUAIR, which was established to manage operations at the FAA UAS Test Site test at Griffiss International Airport, New York from 2012-2023. NYUASTS is one of 7 FAA designated test sites in the U.S.A. NUAIR led the first FAA approved 50 mile UAS BVLOS corridor in the U.S. We are proud of the coalition of private and public entities working across Michigan in support of the industry.
