MUSCA owns houseflies that have been selectively bred over 1200 generations for half a century. Utilizing this army of elite-thoroughbred houseflies, MUSCA developed a hyper-efficient biomass-recycling system that requires only a week for conversion, drastically shortening composting time-lengths compared to traditional practices. The thoroughbred-housefly larvae, which MUSCA rears as natural animal protein feed, consume biowaste including livestock waste as its natural diet, converting it to excrement which is used as fertilizer. MUSCA Feed has high functionality, such as increased disease resistance, and promotion of body mass increase, as identified through scientific research at partner universities. MUSCA Fertilizer has superior qualities compared to conventional fermented fertilizer, such as heightened bacterial resistance, as identified through scientific research at partner universities.
