De NABV (Nederlandse Airsoft Belangen Verenigingen) is de sportbond die is opgericht om de airsoftsport in Nederland mogelijk te maken. De sportbond ging in 2013 van start toen de overheid de regelgeving rondom het bezit van airsoft apparaten mogelijk maakte.
Sinds 2013 maken de NABV en airsoft in Nederland een ongelooflijke groei door. Binnen 3 jaar werd het aantal van 10.000 leden behaald. Eind 2017 telde de vereniging ruim 16.000 leden en in 2018 zette die groei door met ruim 400 leden per maand. De NABV als vereniging/sportbond professionaliseert in rap tempo.
