Een collectief van Leuvense jongeren geeft met Nachtplan opnieuw stem aan de Leuvense nacht.
De nacht is een ‘plek’ die speelt met de routine van het alledaagse leven. Een comfortzone waar je vrijheid vindt en muziek kan ontdekken. Een ‘plek’ waar mainstream en subculturen elkaars bestaan prikkelen en waar ruimte is voor vernieuwing.
Fysieke plekken waar je de nacht kan beleven zijn, net zoals cultuurhuizen of musea, diverse type locaties die je voeden met creativiteit. Muziek, kunst, mode, design, architectuur en ontmoeting komen er samen en zorgen voor ontspanning, maar stimuleren even goed ondernemingszin, talentontwikkeling en zelfontplooiing . Toch wordt in tegenstelling tot de dag, het potentieel van onze stad ’s nachts sterk onderbenut.
En dat moet veranderen.
Nachtplan zet zich in op de ontwikkeling van een meer diverse Leuvense nachtcultuur. Verschillende plekken waar verschillende scènes hun uitlaatklep kunnen vinden, maar toch een geheel dat op die manier het DNA van de Leuvense nacht vormt.
Nachtplan gaat met open blik in dialoog met het beleid en de nachtraven. Door het onderwerp op een constructieve manier bespreekbaar te maken, wil het de Leuvense nachtcultuur met de juiste infrastructuur en een positief imago kracht bijzetten.
