🇫🇷 Le projet NanoCardio vise à détecter et analyser les plaques d’athérome in vivo par imagerie IRM et imagerie optique. La méthode utilisée actuellement est l’angiographie.
Interreg rapproche les savoir-faire de partenaires de la zone transfrontalière France-Wallonie-Flandres. A l’Université de Mons (UMons), l’Université de Gand (UGent) et l’Université de Reims (URCA) s’ajoute une série de partenaires en France et en Belgique.
🇳🇱 Door het samenbrengen van de expertise uit het grensgebied France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen, beoogt het project NanoCardio een multifunctioneel en biocompatible nanoscopische sonde te ontwikkelen voor de visualisatie en analyse van atherosclerotische plaques.
Het doel is om vroegtijdig de ontwikkeling van deze plaques te detecteren om een passende behandeling mogelijk te maken. Tenslotte zal dit project uitgevoerd worden om de preklinische ontwikkeling van deze platformen te overwegen. Aangezien dit probleem een wereldwijd probleem is, zullen de resultaten van het NanoCardio project kunnen doorgetrokken worden op wereldwijde schaal.
