Als McDonald's Directeur en serieondernemer in de USA en Spanje heb ik van dichtbij meegemaakt hoe snel de wereld kan veranderen. Dat het succes van vandaag niets zegt over resultaten van morgen - want goede producten, slimme marketing en bekwame professionals zijn niet langer een garantie voor groei.
Wat is er aan de hand:
• sinds 1958 is de levensduur van bedrijven gedaald van 61 jaar naar 18 jaar
• 75% van alle bedrijven uit de S&P 500 zal in 2030 waarschijnlijk niet meer bestaan
• steeds meer medewerkers haken af - nog maar 12% voelt zich energiek en betrokken, 75% is verkrampt en 13% zelfs al volledig afgehaakt
Wat moet er dan anders?
Tijdig en effectief transformeren - dáár gaat het om. Op tijd voorsorteren op ‘het nieuwe nu’, niet met ellenlange projecten maar met directe, hands-on acties. Met 100% focus op wat relevant is voor jóuw business, op trends, transformaties en het leiderschap wat nodig om jouw organisatie 'futureproof' te maken. Snel en scherp voorsorteren, effectieve oplossingen bedenken en uitvoeren, dáár draait het om.
In mijn 25 jaar bij McDonald’s en als internationaal ondernemer heb ik ervaren hoe lastig het is om teams en organisaties succesvol op koers te houden terwijl je voortdurend moet aanpassen en bijsturen - want stilstaan is geen optie.
