Natty Crutchfield, better known as "Natty," is the founder of Natty’s Jerk, a family-run Caribbean food experience business that started its journey in Portsmouth in 2019. Originally operating as a pop-up at local markets, the business quickly gained a loyal following, leading to the opening of its first permanent home, "The Shack" in Portsmouth. Family plays a central role in the business. Tyrese (24) and Sienna (23) are active members of the team, while Sylvester (9) and Silas (3) inspire Natty and Sam to dream big and remain grounded in their roots.
In 2024, Natty’s Jerk earned national recognition as Uber Eats’ Restaurant of the Year, a testament to their culinary excellence and inspiring journey. From their humble Portsmouth beginnings to award-winning success, Natty’s Jerk continues to serve up food that feeds the soul and connects communities.
