Nature’s SAFE is on a mission to Save Animals From Extinction by collecting, indefinitely storing and regenerating reproductive cells and cell lines from threatened animal species.
Working with leading reproductive scientists and cryobiologists, we use state-of-the-art methods to preserve cells in a way that maintains viability, allowing them to be thawed and used to restore healthy, genetically diversity animal populations and prevent species extinction. In 2024, we became the first team in Europe to successfully propagate Acropora corals, native to the Great Barrier Reef, using cryopreserved sperm.
