Our Club
We are the first Australian Chapter of an international, not for profit body, being the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. Founded in 1973 in Sydney, we have a diverse group of approximately 180 members who range from active professionals to those with a general interest in collecting, repairing or restoring watches, clocks and associated items.
WHAT WE DO
We actively work to educate the community on matters related to the history of timepieces, associated equipment, the care for, repair, restoration of horological items, conduct workshops for skill and knowledge development
Bi-monthly Meetings
We hold our bi-monthly meetings at Wentworthville Uniting Church Hall on the first Sunday in every other month, starting in February at 1pm for a 1.30pm start, and finishing around 5pm.
Chapter 72 Newsletter
Our flagship publication is produced six times per year and includes reports on local chapter news, together with feature articles of first-hand experiences or researched topics written by chapter members.
The National Association Bulletin and Mart
The national association bulletin and mart: Our international parent organisation issues six bi-monthly bulletin and mart publications to members each year by mail or via the internet.
Library
Our library includes a large collection of specialist books, magazines videos and DVDs that we regularly update.
Special Interest Groups
We have four special interest groups within the Chapter that various members attend : (1) Clocks (2)Anniversary or 400-day clocks, (3) Electrical horology/electrical clocks and equipment, (4) Pocket and other watches. The meeting arrangements related to these groups are readily available within the Chapter.
