The National Council of Churches of Kenya is a family of Christian communions and organizations in fellowship and witness. The NCCK is registered and working in Kenya since 1913 to facilitate the attainment of a just, peaceful and sustainable society through its strength in advocacy, capacity building and service delivery. This is achieved through strategic regional support and stakeholder engagement coupled with a set of targeted catalytic downstream and systemic investments made through its alliance of partners. The Council, which brings together 32 member churches and 18 Christian organizations, provides a forum for member churches and organizations to act on common issues, and has transformed and influenced the lives of Kenyans for 110 years.
The Council is guided by its motto, "For Wananchi" (For Citizens), and is committed to the holistic development of all people.
