NEW Solutions is committed to empowering communities by building resilience and promoting awareness of mental health and wellbeing within schools, community organisations and businesses.
Mental health problems can happen to anyone therefore it is important for children, young people and families to receive the right help, at the right time through early identification and intervention.
We believe that when someone needs help they should ‘Ask once, get help fast’ (Mental Health Strategy 2017-2027, Scottish Government, 2017) and that “there can be no ‘wrong door’ for children and families who need and want help” (The Children and Young People’s Mental Health Taskforce Recommendations, July 2019).
Our mission is to enable children, young people and adults to hope for a better future, to know that there is help and to access it when they feel help is needed. We aim to do this by providing support which focuses on prevention and early intervention for children, young people, families and those who may be working with and alongside them.
