What is NLfunding?
NLfunding is an online directory containing a list of the key players and stakeholders in the Tech Venture Capital Landscape of the Netherlands. Along with the lists of investors, NLfunding also contains the lists of crucial organizations within the Dutch startup ecosystem, like accelerators and incubators. The mission of NLfunding is to give everyone the total access to the information needed to get funded and grow your business.
Why was NLfunding created?
NLfunding is a creation of Juriaan Karsten and Eva Bandelj, with the support from Marc Wesselink from Startupbootcamp but it’s a community run directory. It was inspired by the Peak Capital‘s Tech Venture Capital Landscape of the Netherlands. It was built on the belief that every Founder, Hacker, Hustler, Innovator and aspiring Entrepreneur should be able to use the information in the directory to grow, build or scale their business for free.
How was NLfunding built?
The first version of the data was pulled together in 2015. As mentioned earlier, it was based on the Peak Capital’s VC Landscape. It started as a spreadsheet that started to grow over time. Early 2017 was a point where it needed to be handed over to the community so that everyone could benefit from this information. We believe that sharing is caring 🙂
