מרכז נלפ-פלוס קיים מאז שנת 2005. הוא הוקם על ידי ארבע מייסדות מתוך הבנה משותפת שרמת לימודי ה-נלפ בארץ יכולה וצריכה להיות מהגבוהות בעולם.
מאז השתנו דברים רבים במרכז וגם בארץ ובעולם, אנשים התחלפו, תכניות הלימוד השתנו, תכנים נעלמו ובמקומם הגיעו תכנים חדשים ועוד. הרבה ידע וניסיון נצברו.
דבר אחד לא השתנה: השאיפה המתמדת שלנו למצוינות ולמקצוענות ללא פשרות.
יותר מ-1,300 תלמידים עברו שינויים מדהימים במסגרת קורסי המרכז בשנים הללו, חלקם הפכו למטפלים מומלצים המתפרנסים בכבוד מהמקצוע שקנו במסלול המטפלים במרכז.
כיום המרכז מנוהל על ידי שתיים מהמייסדות המקוריות, תמי ילין ואפרת שמר, ועל ידי מנכ”ל מקצועי ומנוסה.
מייסדות המרכז מנחות את הקורסים המתקדמים ומתארחות בקורסי הבסיס ברחבי הארץ.
כמו כן הן אמונות על מערכת הלימוד מרחוק החדישה המלווה את כל קורסי המרכז ומרצות בפני כל תלמידי המרכז בכיתה הוירטואלית.
הצוות המקצועי שלנו מונה שישה מרצים מנוסים נוספים ומאחורי הקלעים תומך בו צוות אדמיניסטרטיבי מסור.
שלושה יועצי לימודים מקסימים ועתירי ידע מכוונים את הפונים אל הקורסים המתאימים להם.
משרדי המרכז נמצאים בהרצליה אך הקורסים מתקיימים בכל רחבי הארץ: בחיפה, בתל אביב ובירושלים.
