What is Factory Physics?
Factory Physics is a collection of widely accepted “physical laws” that exist in all manufacturing and service operations. In most companies, decision-making regarding operations is quite often intuitive and based on lightweight calculations with means. These calculations seldom consider variation which makes the results less reliable. With Factory Physics, these operations are calculated with mathematical formulas that give a much more accurate model of the process. Why is analyzing software needed?
While Factory Physics offers formulas to calculate operations accurately, modeling the calculations themselves can require an overwhelming amount of work.
