Partnerne i Nordic Digital Health & Education (NorDigHE) vil fra 2023-26 udvikle en digital uddannelse for læger, sygeplejersker og anden plejepersonale, der beskæftiger sig med digital håndtering af patienter, der modtager behandling og pleje i eget hjem. Uddannelsen skal sikre, at personalet får de nødvendige digitale kompetencer og den nødvendige psykologiske tryghed til at kunne levere behandlinger virtuelt. Netop manglende kendskab til den digitale behandlingsform og utilstrækkelige digitale kompetencer er blandt sundhedspersonale beskrevet internationalt som hovedårsagerne til, at det har vist sig vanskeligt at indføre e-sundhedsinitiativer i klinisk praksis, selvom disse er veldokumenterede.
Der er et stort behov, både i sygehusvæsenet og blandt pædagogiske organisationer, for hurtigt, nemt og skalerbart at kunne udvikle klinikkernes kompetencer i den digitale behandling af patienter.
NorDigHE vil gøre brug af erfaringer fra @Nordsjællands Hospitals projekt #Influenzer og fra @Lunds Universitets drift af eChildHealth og ICope. Disse har i de senere år udviklet og testet nye såkaldte Hospital-at-Home-modeller med særligt lovende resultater.
Projektet er startet af et konsortium af otte organisationer offentlige og private fra Danmark, Sverige og Norge, herunder to hospitaler: Nordsjælland Hospital og Sahlgrenska Universitetshospitalet; to professionshøjskoler: Københavns Professionshøjskole, Høgskolen i Østfold; et universitet: Lunds Universitet; samt tre virksomheder: Mount Visual, Skillhabit Learning og Copenhagen Game Lab.
Ved afslutningen af projektet vil en digital Hospital-at-Home-uddannelse for sundhedspersonale være klar til implementering og hurtig skalering på de fleste skandinaviske hospitaler og uddannelser.
